Letter from the Advisors

On behalf of the Office of Student Activities and the Division of Student Affairs, welcome to the fraternity and sorority community at Allegheny College! Our community represents over 150 years of leadership, campus involvement, social development, academic excellence, community service, and social development. Fraternity and sorority life has been providing students with a wealth of positive experiences since our first chapter was founded in 1855 and today continues to be a wonderful option for students at Allegheny College.

Each organization is unique and has its own history and traditions, but they all share common values in scholarship, leadership, service, interfraternalism, and community involvement. It is our hope that even though they are unique, they support each other and strive to reach their goals as one community. Opportunities for membership are available for all students regardless of race, gender, religion, national origin, age, disability, or sexual orientation.

This web page provides a brief overview of our fraternity and sorority community. We encourage you to browse through the site and to feel free to contact us with any questions!

Sincerely,

Jonathan Miller
