The Game Room, located in Henderson Campus Center, offers a friendly, relaxing atmosphere where students can unwind and socialize with friends and others who share similar interests. Special features include 2 TV's, pool, ping-pong, foosball, and air hockey tables, two Need for Speed arcade games, Ms. Pac Man/Galaga arcade game, a dance simulation game, electronic dartboard, steel-tipped dart board, board games, and an ever-growing movie collection exceeding 1,500 titles.
The Game Room is open noon to midnight daily while school is in session, and is staffed by eleven students including a student manager. The Student Activities office manages the Game Room.

The Allegheny College Pool League meets every Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Game Room. Spectators are welcome to watch and all skill levels are encouraged to participate. Light refreshments are provided during league play. Members also gather on Sunday evenings from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for anyone interested in stepping up their game. To learn more about the league, Facebook Allegheny Pool League, and a board member will be happy to answer your questions.

The semester long
Movie Madness tourney has concluded. Designed and implemented by Ian McMeans '08,
sixty-four movies were selected, based on last year's top 50 movies signed out
of the Game Room, along with 5 of the top Best Pictures, 5 IMDB Movie Database
top movies, and 4 top money earning films. These 64 movies were placed in a bracket
with two movies facing off each day. The movie receiving the greatest number of
votes for that day advanced. The tournament concluded in early December with 1,081
entry forms (votes) having been received. The winning tickets were pulled from
the 1,081 entries on the last day of Game Room operations for the semester. The
winning ticket holder, Chris, just happened to walk into the Game Room seconds
after his name was drawn!
